The Rhine and Moselle at its most beautiful New

A cruise for real connoisseurs and wine lovers, that's how we can summarize this cruise. A combination of impressive large cities such as Düsseldorf and Cologne and beautiful wine regions around Boppard and Cochem. A wonderful cruise!

Monday, August 2: Arnhem - Düsseldorf

You are very welcome on board from 17:00. During the evening the crew will be introduced to you in the lounge and you can get to know your fellow passengers over a drink. During dinner we cast off and cruise calmly to our first destination Düsseldorf.

Tuesday, August 3: Düsseldorf - Bonn

We arrive in Düsseldorf early in the morning. After breakfast, you will get to know the beautiful city center of Düsseldorf during a city walk (*). The Altstadt with its cozy terraces and shopping streets is within walking distance of the ship. While we continue our journey in the afternoon, a High Tea will be served in the lounge. We will moor in Bonn during the evening.

Wednesday, August 4: Bonn - Andernach

You have until noon to explore Bonn. The pedestrian zone in the center is one of the largest in Germany. There are plenty of shops in the narrow streets and around the attractive squares. Well-known shopping streets include Bonngasse, Poststrasse and the fully modernized Friedrichstrasse. Or would you rather visit Beethoven's birthplace? On the way to Andernach, the environment along the river slowly begins to change and the first vineyards come into view. Andernach was originally a Celtic fortress and is one of the oldest cities on the Rhine. The image of this city is determined by the ancient 56 meter high round tower. In the pleasant center, behind the old fortress walls, many remains from that time can be found.

Thursday, August 5: Andernach - Cochem

You can walk straight into the center of Cochem from the dock. While you are walking through the city you will soon arrive at the market square. The square is surrounded by picturesque half-timbered houses in different colors with nice shops and various drinking and dining establishments. You will also find the beautiful Martinsbrunnen on the square, a fountain from 1767. Cochem is best known for its Moselle wines. Along the banks of the river, the many vineyards on the slopes of the hills can be seen. Due to the steepness of the hills, the vines cannot be picked by machine and are therefore harvested annually by hand. You can certainly taste the Moselle wines that are then made at one of the many tasting rooms in the city.

Friday, August 6: Cochem - Boppard

This morning, enjoy the peace and the beautiful surroundings of the Moselle valley. Once back on the Rhine we soon reach Boppard. Here the Rhine makes a big loop and we find ourselves in the middle of the Bopparder Hamm wine region. The beautiful towers of the St. Severus Church can be seen from afar and determine the cityscape of Boppard. The many colors of the stained glass windows and the beautiful wall and ceiling paintings are certainly worth admiring.

Saturday, August 7: Boppard - Rüdesheim

During breakfast we sail upstream on the romantic Rhine to Rüdesheim. The beautiful panorama that passes you today consists of a succession of fortresses, castles, steep vineyard-covered mountain slopes and of course the world famous Lorelei. Just after noon we moor in the tourist town of Rüdesheim. The beautiful medieval center is known for its many wine taverns, often located in historic half-timbered houses.

Sunday, August 8: Rüdesheim - Koblenz

One of the things you can do on your own in Koblenz is visiting the Ehrenbreitstein fortress. From the boulevard you will float over the Rhine to the castle by cable car. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the picturesque city of Koblenz and the Deutsche Eck. This is the point where the Moselle flows into the Rhine.

Monday, August 9: Koblenz - Cologne - Duisburg

We are keeping up the pace, because we want to arrive in Cologne on time. Cologne is known for the 4711 Eau de Cologne, but also for the mighty Cologne Cathedral. Just behind this cathedral is an extensive shopping area and an attractive Altstadt. During the Farewell Dinner we set course to Duisburg.

Tuesday, August 10: Duisburg - Arnhem

The last day has already arrived. To conclude, we have a delicious champagne brunch waiting for you. We arrive in Arnhem at 11.00. where we say goodbye to you.
