Saturday, April 29:
Cologne - Bonn
In the course of the morning we arrive in Cologne and whoever thinks of Cologne, thinks of the Dom. This imposing Gothic building is well worth a visit. The city has much more to offer, the extensive shopping streets are a mecca for the shoppers among you. On the Glockengasse you will find the home of the world's most famous scented water 4711. But there is also no shortage of museums. Our favourite has to be the Chocolate Museum. Can't choose? During a city walk(*) you will get a good impression of this metropolis. At the end of the afternoon we continue our journey to Bonn.
Sunday, April 30:
Bonn - Königswinter - Dusseldorf
Would you like to get to know beautiful Bonn in a short time? Then sign up on board for a city tour (*). The historic centre with extensive pedestrian zone is ideal for a pleasant walk. Bonn is also the city of Beethoven. His birthplace gives a glimpse into his life. At the end of the morning we sail to Königswinter. This old wine town, located at the foot of the Siebengebirge, is famous for the Drachenfels. On top of this 321 meter high rock stands the ruins of the Drachenfels castle. We leave Königswinter behind and while you enjoy the Farewell Dinner we sail downriver to Düsseldorf. After dinner you have the opportunity to take an evening walk through the Altstadt of Düsseldorf.
