Spring Cruise to Basel New

This year we start the sailing season with a spring cruise to Basel. At the beginning of spring it is already very pleasant to stay in the Rhine Valley. The meadows and forests along the Rhine are slowly turning fresh green again. Because the Antonio Bellucci has to sail to Basel, we are able to offer this journey for a very attractive price. A great opportunity to get acquainted with all the comfort on board of this beloved ship. There is live music on board throughout the cruise. The return journey from Basel to Arnhem is by touring car. Along the way we will make a stop for lunch and of course we will also provide a cup of coffee.

Saturday March 18: Arnhem–Dusseldorf

From 4pm you are welcome on board the Antonio Bellucci. The marble floors of the spacious entrance and the chandelier-lit staircases naturally lead you to the beautifully decorated lounge. After an initial introduction of the ship, we invite you for dinner. Around 7pm we lift anchor and set course for Düsseldorf. In the lounge, the musician will ensure a pleasant evening in the evening.

Sunday March 19: Dusseldorf - Königswinter

We arrive in Düsseldorf before breakfast. In the morning you have the opportunity to explore Düsseldorf. The Altstadt shows you the old part of Düsseldorf, while the Medienhafen introduces you to modern architecture. You can discover this interesting city during an excursion(*) that you can book on board. As we continue our journey and sail past Cologne, a High Tea will be served in the lounge in the afternoon. In the course of the evening we moor in Königswinter.

Monday March 20: Konigswinter - Koblenz

During the morning the environment along the Rhine will slowly change. As soon as we pass the Siebengebirge, the first vineyards, fortresses and castles come into view. Halfway through the afternoon we moor in Koblenz at the Deutsche Eck. Here the Moselle flows into the Rhine. From the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress on the opposite side, which you can reach by cable car, you have a wonderful view of the city and both rivers.

Tuesday March 21: Koblenz - Rudesheim

The start of an unforgettable day. During the journey to Rüdesheim you can enjoy a magnificent panorama, formed by the steep banks on both sides of the jagged river. After we have passed the Loreley, it is still a short sail before we arrive in Rüdesheim. Here you will find Siegfrieds Mechanicals Music Cabinet, the wine museum, the Drosselgasse and many other sights.

Wednesday March 22: Rudesheim - Speyer

We leave Rüdesheim with a bit of a melancholy feeling. Through the Rheinhessen district, known for its delicious Rhine wine, we now set course for Speyer. The cityscape of this old imperial city is determined by the ancient Romanesque cathedral, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A visit to the Technical Museum is certainly very interesting.

Thursday March 23: Speyer - Strasbourg

On our journey of discovery, we cross the border of France and head for our next destination, Strasbourg. The beautiful buildings testify to a rich history and it will therefore not surprise you that this city in particular serves as the seat of the European Parliament. On board you will be happy to inform you about the best way to see this vibrant city.

Friday March 24: Strasbourg - Basel

When you wake up, we are already on the canalized Rhine: the Grand Canal d'Alsace. On the port side, the peaks of the Black Forest rise on the horizon and on the starboard side you can see the foothills of the Vosges. In the afternoon we arrive at our final destination Basel, where we will stay for two days. You have enough time here to visit the city.

Saturday March 25: Basel (full day)

From Basel you can take part in a magnificent bus tour(*) through Switzerland. This wonderful tour shows you the most beautiful parts of Switzerland. You can register on board for this optional full-day excursion, which is regarded by many as the highlight of the trip.

Sunday March 26: Basel - Wirges - Arnhem (bus transfer)

During breakfast, the crew will put your bags on the bus. Along the way you talk about all the impressions you have gained during this great journey. Of course we also provide a cup of coffee on the way. After a stop for lunch in Wirges, we arrive back in Arnhem in the early evening.

  • Welcome cocktail
  • Various excursion opportunities (not included)
  • High Tea
  • Live entertainment throughout
  • Farewell Dinner

Antonio Bellucci

The marble floor of the spacious entrance, the chandelier-lit staircases and the tastefully decorated lounge create a special atmosphere that exceeds every expectation. When you enter the lounge on the bow, you will be captivated by the modern furnishings and the harmonious color palette. The sunlight has free play through the ceiling and the large windows all around. If you then take a seat in the lounge, you have an unobstructed view of the landscape that glides past you. The chic restaurant is located on the Da Vinci deck. Here again large windows, so you don't have to miss anything of the surroundings. When the weather is nice, you naturally want to enjoy yourself on the sundeck. The playful seats, the sunbeds and the awnings provide a cozy atmosphere. The terrace in front of the wheelhouse is exceptional. Even if the ship passes under an extremely low bridge, you can just sit here. Naturally, the Antonio Bellucci has good sauna and fitness facilities. In this room on the Caravaggio deck and in the whirlpool on the sundeck you can also relax or unwind during the cruise. Finally, there is the Captains Corner, a stylish second lounge on the stern. Here you can, for example, drink a cup of coffee by the fireplace, watch television or read your e-mail on the computer. More information about the Antonio Bellucci can be found below. If you still have questions after reading this information, please let us know. Our employees are available six days a week!
