Saturday, July 29:
Arnhem - Düsseldorf
You are welcome on board from 5pm onwards. During dinner we set off and leave Arnhem behind us. Tonight you can get to know your fellow passengers in the lounge as we gently sail on to Düsseldorf.
Sunday, July 30:
Düsseldorf - Bonn
We arrive in Düsseldorf very early in the morning. This city is ideal for great shopping. A visit to the Königsallee, a chic and exclusive shopping street, should certainly not be missed. But you can also sign up on board for an optional excursion(*) to discover Düsseldorf. You will then see the highlights of this bustling metropolis. During lunch we continue our journey to Bonn. This afternoon you can enjoy a delicious High Tea in the lounge. In the course of the evening we reach Bonn.
Monday, July 31:
Bonn - Boppard
You have until noon to explore Bonn. Then we aim for Boppard. The part we are sailing on this afternoon is certainly the most beautiful part of the Rhine. The urban environment slowly changes into a hilly landscape covered with vineyards, on which a castle or castle can regularly be seen. In the course of the afternoon we arrive in Boppard. You can take a cable car to the Vierseenblick viewpoint. From this point you can see the Rhine meandering in four places in the hilly landscape.
Tuesday, August 1:
Boppard - Rüdesheim
When we have passed the Lorelei it will not be long before we arrive in Rüdesheim. This famous wine town is known for its many wine taverns, historic half-timbered houses and the Drosselgasse. In this narrow alley you can enjoy a delicious Riesling from the region in one of the cosy wine bars.
Wednesday, August 2:
Rüdesheim - Mannheim
Early in the morning we set sail for Mannheim where we will arrive after lunch. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to visit the university city Heidelberg. Here you can visit the world-famous castle or take a walk through the picturesque centre of this pleasant city.
Thursday, August 3:
Mannheim - Frankfurt
At Mainz we leave the Rhine and turn onto the narrow Main. After passing through a few locks, we moor in Frankfurt. This is the financial heart of Germany. From the banks of the Main you have a beautiful view of the important banking centre with its unique skyline. It is not surprising that this city has been nicknamed Mainhattan because of its many skyscrapers.
Friday, August 4:
Frankfurt - Aschaffenburg
Johannisburg Castle is the main attraction of Aschaffenburg. The castle is located near the old town in the bend of the river Main. You can walk around the castle and you have a beautiful view over the river.
Saturday, August 5:
Aschaffenburg - Mainz
In the morning you can enjoy the narrow Main for a while. As soon as we have passed the seven locks again, we arrive at Mainz, also our next destination, on the Rhine again. In the course of the afternoon you can visit the city and you should definitely pay a visit to the Mainz Cathedral.
Sunday, August 6:
Mainz - Koblenz
At the Deutsche Eck we moor in Koblenz. Despite its size, this city still has an intimate character. Narrow streets with shops abound. From our berth in the mouth of the Moselle, it is only a few minutes' walk to the lively centre.
Monday, August 7:
Koblenz - Cochem
On the Moselle, the third river of our journey, we are treated to a surreal rest. The river is enclosed on both sides by steep vineyard-covered mountain slopes that provide a magnificent panorama. The town of Cochem is very popular with tourists from all over the world.
Tuesday, August 8:
Cochem - Andernach
In the course of the afternoon we reach Andernach. From the wide boulevard you walk through the city gate into the small town. In the atmospheric centre, a number of medieval buildings have been preserved, such as the Stadtburg, the city wall with the Koblenzer Gate, the Rhine Gate and the Runde Turm.
Wednesday, August 9:
Andernach - Düsseldorf
On our way to Düsseldorf we again pass Bonn and Cologne. Just after lunch you can shop to your heart's content in the nearby centre of Düsseldorf. Tonight you can enjoy the Farewell Dinner, followed by a pleasant evening in the lounge.
