Thursday, May 5:
Arnhem – Cologne
You are welcome on board from 17:00. Around 19:00 we start the engines and set course for Cologne. After dinner you can meet your fellow passengers in the lounge.
Friday May 6:
We arrive in Cologne at noon and who thinks of Cologne, thinks of the Cathedral. This imposing Gothic building is well worth a visit. The city still has a lot more to offer, the extensive shopping streets are a mecca for the shoppers among you. At the Glockengasse you will find the house of the world's most famous perfumed water 4711. Or visit one of the many museums.
Saturday May 7:
Cologne – Linz – Bonn
During breakfast we aim the bow at Linz. This city has the nickname Bonte Stad because of the brightly coloured half-timbered houses. You have the rest of the afternoon to visit Linz. Around 19:00. we release the bunches to join the convoy of ships. While we slowly sail towards Bonn in the twilight, you can enjoy a spectacle of fire and light. The villages and fortresses lit with torches and fireworks give the area a magical and romantic atmosphere. During this impressive voyage you can watch the beautiful fireworks on the sun deck while enjoying a glass of champagne and canapés. Once in Bonn, the evening will be concluded with an all-surpassing music and fireworks show that will illuminate the sky in beautiful colours.
Sunday May 8:
Bonn – Koblenz
We leave Bonn early and you can see the landscape slowly changing. We pass picturesque places such as Königswinter and Andernach and occasionally you catch a glimpse of a castle or ruin among the trees. We arrive in Koblenz early in the afternoon. At this strategically located trading city, the River Moselle flows into the Rhine. In the centre you will find, besides various shopping streets, also several wineries with pleasant terraces. Here you can relax while enjoying a glass of wine.
Monday May 9:
Koblenz – Rüdesheim – Boppard
The scenery passing by this morning is truly breath-taking. Each castle is more beautiful than the next not to mention the beauty of the imposing Loreley. We arrive at the late morning in Rüdesheim. This city is known for its wines which you can taste in one of the many wine taverns in the famous Drosselgasse. Rüdesheim offers many attractions such as the famous Niederwalddenkmal and the Siegfrieds Mechanisches Musikkabinett. During the day dinner we sail back to Boppard. The beautiful towers of the St. Severus Church can be seen from afar and make up the cityscape of Boppard. The many colours of the stained glass windows and the beautiful wall and ceiling paintings are well worth to be admired.
Tuesday May 10:
Boppard - Düsseldorf
We left early because it we have quite a way to go to Düsseldorf. Places like Bonn and Cologne are rapidly passing us by. In the course of the afternoon we arrive in Düsseldorf. Just behind the old town you will find shops in abundance. Meanwhile, the crew is making all the preparations on board for the Farewell Dinner.
Wednesday May 11:
Düsseldorf – Arnhem:
The last day has already arrived. To conclude, we have a delicious champagne brunch waiting for you. We will arrive in Arnhem at 11:00 where we will say goodbye to you.
