Monday/Saturday:
Arnhem - Rotterdam
We wish you a warm welcome on board in Arnhem and will depart at 9.30am. We follow the Nederrijn and the Lek and sail past Wijk bij Duurstede and Kinderdijk, among others. At the beginning of the evening we moor in Rotterdam.
Tuesday/Sunday:
Rotterdam - Dordrecht
Until lunch you have the opportunity to explore Rotterdam. Via the ports of Rotterdam we set course for Dordrecht. This city was founded almost 1000 years ago, received city rights in 1220 and played an important role in trade, politics and religion. The rich past can be found especially in the port area.
Wednesday/Monday:
Dordrecht - Antwerp
We leave Dordrecht before breakfast and sail into the port city of Antwerp at the beginning of the afternoon via the Scheldt-Rhine Canal. You can take the tourist train(*) to view the city and, if desired, get off in the centre. The cosy centre offers something for everyone. Enjoy a Belgian beer on one of the many terraces on the Groenplaats or visit the Rubens House.
Thursday/Tuesday:
Antwerp - Ghent
Early on we cast off the mooring lines and aim for Ghent. The centre is dominated by no fewer than three impressive buildings in one line: St. Nicholas' Church, the Belfry and St. Bavo's Cathedral. In this cathedral you can view the famous triptych 'The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb' by Jan van Eijck.
Friday/Wednesday:
Ghent – Bruges
Bruges is the next destination and has numerous sights such as the Begijnhof, the Minnewater, the Church of Our Lady, the Burg and the Markt with the world-famous Belfry. For enthusiasts there is a city tour(*) with the Citybus.
Saturday/Thursday:
Bruges (full day)
Today you have the opportunity to participate in an excursion(*) that will take you along some charming Belgian coastal towns. Or you can explore Bruges yourself. The 122 meter high tower of the Church of Our Lady in the centre is the second tallest brick building in the world. The many restaurants, brown cafes and chocolate shops offer you plenty of opportunities to enjoy the exuberant lifestyle of the Belgians.
Sunday/Friday:
Bruges - Terneuzen
During breakfast we lift the anchor and sail to Terneuzen. From the Scheldt boulevard in Terneuzen you can see impressive ships on their way to the sea or to Antwerp.
Monday/Saturday:
Terneuzen - Willemstad
We cross the Western Scheldt again and set course for Willemstad where we arrive in the course of the afternoon. It is one of the best preserved fortified towns in the Netherlands. The entire city is surrounded by ramparts. Within the ramparts are interesting buildings such as the Arsenaal, the former town hall and the Mauritshuis.
Tuesday/Sunday:
Willemstad - Zaltbommel
The fortified town of Zaltbommel on the Waal has a rich history. The beautiful Saint Martin Church with the Bommelse Toren (tower), the many characteristic facades in picturesque streets and the Water Gate bear witness to this.
