Arnhem - Düsseldorf
You are welcome on board from 5pm. Around 7pm we start the engines and set course for Düsseldorf. After dinner you can get to know your fellow passengers in the lounge while we quietly sail on to Düsseldorf.
Friday, April 7:
Düsseldorf - Bonn
We arrive in Düsseldorf very early in the morning. This city is ideal for great shopping. A visit to the Königsallee, a chic and exclusive shopping street, should certainly not be missed. But you can also sign up on board for an optional excursion(*) to discover Düsseldorf. You will then see the highlights of this bustling metropolis. During lunch we continue our journey to Bonn. This afternoon you can enjoy a delicious High Tea in the lounge. In the course of the evening we reach Bonn.
Saturday, April 8:
Bonn – Königswinter - Andernach
Until noon we stay in Bonn, the former capital of West Germany. After a pleasant stop in this interesting town we sail on to Königswinter. This wine town on the Rhine is best known for the Drachenfels Castle, which is located high above the city. The ruin can be reached by cog railway. The next and last destination for today is Andernach. A number of medieval buildings have been preserved in the attractive centre, including the Stadtburg, part of the city wall with the Koblenzer Tor, the Rheintor and the Runde Turm.
Andernach - Cochem
Today is Easter Sunday. A delicious and extensive Easter breakfast awaits you in the restaurant. Early on we continued the journey to Cochem. After passing the first lock at Koblenz, we enter the quiet Moselle. We enjoy a beautiful sailing day between the steep, vineyard-covered mountain slopes. Cochem is a typical Mosel town and has a beautiful old town with half-timbered houses. The romantic Reichsburg towers high above the city. The Moselle train is waiting at the ship for a short tour(*) to the center. Here you can stroll to your heart's content through the beautiful streets of Cochem. You have the entire afternoon and evening to explore this wine city.
Monday, April 10:
Cochem - Koblenz
We arrive in Koblenz in the early afternoon. From the Rhine promenade you can take a cable car to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Here you have a breathtaking view of the Deutsche Eck and the picturesque city of Koblenz. The view extends far into the romantic Rhine valley with its many castles, palaces and historic wine villages.
Tuesday, April 11:
Koblenz - Cologne - Duisburg
On our return journey to Cologne you can once again enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This afternoon you have the opportunity to explore Cologne. You can also choose to participate in the city tour (*) through the Dom city. At the beginning of the evening, we will invite you to the Farewell Dinner. While you are having dinner we sail further downstream to Duisburg where we spend the night.
Wednesday, April 12:
Duisburg - Arnhem
The last day has already arrived. Finally, we have a delicious breakfast waiting for you. At 11am we will lay out the gangway for you in Arnhem and it is time to say goodbye again. You will look back fondly on this exceptional Easter cruise.
