Friday December 23:
Arnhem - Düsseldorf
Boarding takes place between 16.00 and 19.00 in Arnhem. Tonight and the rest of the cruise, the musician will provide a convivial atmosphere on board. During dinner we cast off and set sail for Düsseldorf.
Saturday December 24:
The festively lit streets in the Altstadt complete the Christmas atmosphere. Today you have enough time to explore the city centre. After dinner, the musician in the lounge will ensure a you have a pleasant Christmas Eve. Later in the evening you can enjoy the midnight buffet on board. Merry Christmas!
Sunday December 25:
Düsseldorf - Cologne
After Christmas breakfast we continue our journey to Cologne. Of course, a visit to the imposing Cologne Cathedral should not be missed today. At the end of the afternoon there is a Christmas aperitif in the attractive lounge. The chef de cuisine has incorporated all his culinary delights into the overwhelming Christmas dinner. We appreciate it very much if you bring festive clothing for this special evening.
Monday December 26:
Cologne - Bonn
The morning will start with a delicious champagne brunch. In the meantime we sail to Bonn. Several beautiful monuments can be seen in the center of this stately city. The central market square is dominated by the Altes Rathaus painted in pastel colors.
Tuesday December 27:
Bonn - Koblenz
After lunch we moor in Koblenz. You can spend the whole afternoon exploring the cosy centre here or take the cable car to the high-lying fortress Ehrenbreitstein. From here you not only have a beautiful view of the city of Koblenz, but also of the Rhine and Moselle.
Wednesday December 28:
Koblenz - Mainz
Today we sail through the romantic part of the Rhine. From the ship you have a beautiful view of the various fortresses and castles. We will also pass the famous Lorelei. We arrive in Mainz mid-afternoon. This city on the Rhine has a historic center with many monuments including the Dom and a diversity of Baroque architecture.
Thursday December 29:
Mainz - Boppard
Downstream we pass the Lorelei again, after which we moor in the wine town of Boppard at the beginning of the afternoon. The promenade along the water automatically leads you to the small but nice centre.
Friday December 30:
Boppard - Andernach
We leave Boppard in the morning and soon we sail past Koblenz. At the point where the Moselle and the Rhine meet, the Deutsche Eck, is the statue of Emperor Wilhelm I. From here it is only a short sail to Andernach. This was once one of the fifty fortifications along the Rhine. Behind the thick city walls we still find many remnants of this time.
Saturday December 31:
Andernach - Cologne
We arrive in Cologne in time so that you still have the opportunity to walk through the long shopping streets behind the Dom cathedral. The shops will close at the beginning of the afternoon and everyone is getting ready for a festive New Year's Eve. Tonight we serve a delicious gala dinner. The musician ensures a pleasant evening, while you enjoy delicious appetizers. At midnight, we pop the champagne corks and wish you a good and healthy 2023! With the cathedral lit by fireworks in the background, you will not easily forget this New Year’s Eve.
Sunday January 1:
Cologne - Düsseldorf
On this first day of the new year, you can take it easy. A delicious champagne brunch is waiting for you in the restaurant so that you can enjoy your night's sleep a little longer. We calmly sail back to Düsseldorf. Take a refreshing walk on the Rhine promenade or through the Altstadt!
Monday January 2:
Düsseldorf - Arnhem
During the night the ship will silently complete the last leg of this stylish cruise. After breakfast we arrive in Arnhem, where we say goodbye to you.
