Thursday July 7:
Arnhem - Düsseldorf
You are very welcome on board from 17:00. During dinner we cast off and leave Arnhem behind. Tonight you can get to know your fellow passengers in the lounge while we cruise on quietly to Düsseldorf.
Friday July 8:
Düsseldorf - Bonn
We arrive in Düsseldorf early in the morning. This city is ideal for shopping. A visit to the Königsallee, a chic and exclusive shopping street, should certainly not be missed. But you can also sign up on board for an excursion(*). You will then see the highlights of this bustling metropolis. During lunch we continue our journey to Bonn. This afternoon you can enjoy a delicious High Tea in the lounge. We will reach Bonn in the evening.
Saturday July 9:
Bonn - Königswinter - Andernach
You have until noon to explore Bonn. Then we aim for Königswinter where we spend the afternoon. This old wine town, located at the foot of the Siebengebirge, is famous for the Drachenfels. A castle that stands on top of the 321 meter high rock. During dinner we will continue sailing to Andernach where we will spend the night.
Sunday July 10:
Andernach - Rüdesheim
Today you can fully enjoy the landscape that passes by. Around noon you will first see the legendary statue of the nymph of the Lorelei on a headland in the Rhine. Not much later we pass the high rock of the Lorelei and the river makes a sharp bend. It won't be long before we arrive in Rüdesheim. The cozy wine town is located on the Rhine Valley and is known for its many wine taverns, often located in historic half-timbered houses.
Monday July 11:
Rüdesheim - Frankfurt
We leave Rüdesheim early and at Mainz we leave the Rhine and sail up the Main. We still have to go through three locks before we can moor in the financial center of Frankfurt. This afternoon you can already get acquainted with this city. In the city center you will find many historical buildings. With its tall modern bank buildings, the city has a skyline that is reminiscent of New York.
Tuesday July 12:
Frankfurt - Miltenberg
Where buildings still predominate in the first part of the Main, the river is now enclosed by the nature of the Odenwald and Spessart mountains. In the afternoon we arrive in Miltenberg, the pearl on the Main. From the beautiful old market square surrounded by half-timbered houses, you can walk straight into the forest through the Schnatterturm.
Wednesday July 13:
Miltenberg - Lohr
We leave Miltenberg behind and set course for Lohr. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings on the sun deck on the way. In the afternoon you can explore Lohr. Be enchanted by the charm of the picturesque city center.
Thursday July 14:
Lohr - Würzburg
We arrive in Würzburg in the early afternoon. This colorful city is one of the highlights during this beautiful cruise on the Main. Architectural masterpieces from different eras define the cityscape. A city with a lively atmosphere, where art, culture and Frankenwein are part of life. During a city walk (*) the local guide will introduce you to the most beautiful places in the center of Würzburg.
Friday July 15:
Würzburg - Wertheim
The romantic town of Wertheim is located on the edge of the Spessart nature park, where the Tauber flows into the Main. Medieval alleys, half-timbered houses, squares and the imposing castle ruins in the center take you back in time.
Saturday July 16:
Wertheim - Asschaffenburg
The versatile city of Aschaffenburg is also called "the Nice of Bavaria" because of its mild and sunny climate. Much of the center is pedestrianized. Many wine taverns can be found in the narrow streets with half-timbered houses. The beautiful Renaissance castle Johannesburg and the Abbey Basilica in the city center, situated on the Main, are certainly worth a visit.
Sunday July 17:
Asschaffenburg - Mainz
After passing the last seven locks on the Main, we are back on the Rhine. The city of Mainz is located opposite the mouth of the Main. Here you will find many historic buildings and monuments in the city center. The oldest and most famous building is Mainz Cathedral. A Romanesque cathedral built of red sandstone.
Monday July 18:
Mainz – Düsseldorf
Today there is a long sailing day on the program. On our way to lively Düsseldorf, we again pass the Loreley and the mighty fortresses and castles along the Romantic Rhine. During the Farewell Dinner we arrive in Düsseldorf.
Tuesday July 19:
Düsseldorf - Arnhem
Time has flown by. At 11.00 am we arrive back in Arnhem, where we say goodbye to each other. You will talk for a long time about all the beautiful things you have seen during this wonderful journey.
