Monday:
Arnhem-Düsseldorf
After a warm welcome on board, we leave Arnhem at 09:30am. It won't be long before we find ourselves in Germany. When we sail through the bustling Ruhr area, you will have ample opportunity to get to know the other passengers. In the course of the evening we arrive in Düsseldorf.
Tuesday:
Dusseldorf - Bonn - Andernach
Early in the morning we continue our journey. On the way we pass the imposing towers of the Cologne Cathedral and the former government buildings of Bonn. Here we make our first stop. There are many monumental buildings in the centre, including the birthplace of the famous Ludwig van Beethoven. During a city tour(*) you can comfortably see the highlights that the city has to offer. During dinner we continue our journey to Andernach.
Wednesday:
Andernach - Rudesheim
We leave Andernach behind us and enjoy today, in the romantic Rhine valley, a beautiful environment. The many castles and the imposing Lorelei make this day a fantastic experience. Rüdesheim has a lot to offer, including the Niederwald monument and the world-famous Drosselgasse. A walk through this cosy street should not be missed during your visit to this place. On board you can register for an excursion(*) to Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabine. Here is the largest collection of still playing mechanical musical instruments in the world.
Thursday:
Rudesheim - Boppard - Koblenz
We moor in good time in the Celtic settlement of Boppard, located in the wine region of the Bopparder Hamm. A pedestrian promenade leads you to the old town centre. The mostly historic buildings house nice shops and cosy Beer bar. After lunch you can take part in a bus excursion(*) through the area. At the same time, the ship leaves Boppard and sets sail for the trading city of Koblenz, centrally located on the Rhine and Moselle. In Koblenz, the buses of the excursion return to the ship. Most shops in Koblenz stay open longer on Thursdays.
Friday:
Koblenz-Linz-Duisburg
This morning we make a stop in Linz, which is located opposite the mouth of the Ahr. Linz is also called the colourful city because of the brightly coloured half-timbered houses in the centre. Make sure you don't linger too long in the Altstadt, because around noon we will weigh anchor and go downstream past Cologne and Düsseldorf, among others. Tonight we will spend the night in Duisburg.
Saturday:
Duisburg-Arnhem
This beautiful journey on the Rhine is almost over. After you have enjoyed lunch, we will arrive back in Arnhem at 2pm, where we will say goodbye to each other
