Monday/Thursday:
Arnhem-Düsseldorf
At 9.30am we leave with the Salvinia from Arnhem towards Germany. While we cross the Ruhr area you have the opportunity to get to know your travel companions. We reach our destination Düsseldorf in the course of the evening.
Tuesday/Friday:
Dusseldorf - Cologne - Königswinter
In the morning we leave Düsseldorf behind and initially head for Cologne. At the end of the morning, the high towers of the Cologne Cathedral rise on the horizon. This afternoon you have time to visit this imposing city. At the end of the afternoon we will continue our journey to Königswinter. Once on the road again, the impressive Siebengebirge appears on the port side. After dinner there is still time enough to take a walk through Königswinter.
Wednesday/Saturday:
Königswinter - Winningen - Alken
Today we exchange the Rhine for the Moselle. Shortly after the first lock of this journey we make a stopover in the small wine town of Winningen. Later in the afternoon we set course for Alken. After dinner you still have plenty of opportunity for a walk along the Moselle, where the castle Thurant shines beautifully lit above the village of Alken.
Thursday/Sunday:
Alken - Zell
All day long we are treated to a magnificent panorama consisting of steep mountain slopes with countless vineyards. Our destination Zell may be very small, but it is world famous for white wine. Almost everyone knows the delicious Moselle wine Zeller Schwarze Katz. What prevents you from settling down on one of the cosy terraces and ordering a glass of this wine?
Friday/Monday:
Zell-Bernkastel
On the way to Bernkastel you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the almost enchanting Moselle valley. Around noon we arrive in Bernkastel. On the market square of this wine town you will find many old half-timbered houses and a 17th-century town hall. You have the whole afternoon to see this beautiful place and the view from the Burg Landshut.
Saturday/Tuesday:
Bernkastel - Traben-Trarbach
In the morning you can take part in a bus excursion(*) through the interesting surroundings. Meanwhile, the ship continues to the beautiful place Traben-Trarbach, situated between the steep vineyards. The half-timbered houses give the city a picturesque appearance.
Sunday/Wednesday:
Traben-Trarbach - Cochem
During lunch we arrive in Cochem. There is plenty to do in the city. You can stroll along the pleasant boulevard and stroll through the narrow shopping streets. High above the city, the Reichsburg dominates the beautiful panorama. The view over the Moselle valley from this castle is magnificent.
Monday/Thursday:
Cochem-Koblenz-Andernach
It is already the last day on the Moselle. Due to its location on the Rhine and Moselle, our destination Koblenz has become the trading city of the wider area. Shops are plentiful, including small specialty shops selling antiques and art. There is also a large indoor shopping centre. In the afternoon we continue our journey to Andernach. The city is located behind the almost intact city walls and has a pleasant city centre.
Tuesday/Friday:
Andernach-Bonn-Duisburg
We leave Andernach and first head for the former capital, Bonn. During the afternoon we sail on to Duisburg, where we spend the last evening of this trip.
Wednesday/Saturday:
Duisburg - Emmerich - Arnhem
On this last day of our trip you can first take a walk through the pleasant town of Emmerich in the morning. At noon we expect you back on board for lunch. We will moor in Arnhem around 2pm This will bring an end to this wonderful journey and we will say goodbye to you. Bye!
